Short Bios

Shelley’s first feature screenplay Kill Haole Day has successfully recieved seven recognitions and/or awards; first place in the Canadian International Film festival, best murder mystery at the American International Film Festival, and was the top ten finalist winner in three international competitions.  After a successful rewrite it made top 15% in the NIchols fellowship and the quarter-finals of the Scriptalooza Screenplay competition.  Additional awards include:  third round finalist in the Page International Screenplay competition for her TV pilot Brighton, later renamed Hillcrest Hall; and her ½ hour TV pilot The Bughouse was a top ten finalist in the Hollywood screenplay competition.  Her second feature screenplay Everybody’s Eating Ralph was a top ten finalist in three major screenplay competitions.  Following a pattern of success, her third feature Nottingud Happened Here was awarded official selection in two major screeplay competitions.  Shelley is actively pursuing a career in TV writing, and eventual showrunner.
