Rebecca has a richly diverse heritage reaching from the Appalachia Mountains region of Virginia to shores of the Philippine Islands and nesting in the Wisconsin heartland. Publications include short stories and YA novel series co-written with her daughter for Little Creek Books. Life According to Liz was nominated for a 2012 Parents' Choice Award and Moving Out and Moving On received the 2013 Tofte/Wright Children's Literature Award. Rebecca also has a great passion for screenwriting and has written several scripts in the following genres: music-inspired drama, rom-com, ensemble comedy, family, animation, TV animation for preschoolers, faith-inspirational (Christmas), and TV Reality series. Her short dramedy: "Wrong Number Right Day" won First Place in the 2015 Project Famous short screenplay competition and will be produced into a film for 2016. Since 2010, has served as Vice President of Wisconsin Screenwriters Forum. Has production experience in radio, television and film.
