Short Bios

Wendy Wilkins began her career working production on such shows as ‘Mr. Show,’ ‘Malcolm in the Middle,’ ‘Deadwood,’ ‘Rome,’ ‘Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,’ and ‘The Unit.’ Also during that time, she performed stand-up comedy, produced the popular variety show, 'Lime' and wrote television scripts. 

In 2010, Wendy began acting, starring in many short films, music videos and independent projects which included a Funny or Die parody short entitled, 'Breaking Badge.' 

Wendy also creates, produces, writes and directs her own projects, including her web series, 'How to Train a Boyfriend' that can be seen on her comedy advise website, Your Big Sister.

Wendy's feature scripts have gone on to win many awards. Her second feature script, 'Where The Men Are,' did its best showing by placing 3rd in the Comedy Screenplay Contest this past February. Prior to that, the script placed in the top-10 for Scriptapalooza’s Screenplay Contest along with ten other competitions. 

These wins follow up her first big one in 2011 with her first feature script, Backseat Debutantes, which placed in the top-10 for Final Draft’s “Big Break” Screenplay Contest.

Currently, Wendy's latest project - a radio play entitled 'One More Day' about the start of the second American revolution and one Los Angeles apartment complex that has to ban together in order to survive the outbreak right out their front gate.
