Short Bios

Christopher J. Valin is a writer, teacher, artist, and historian living in the Los Angeles area. He has written over a dozen screenplays and teleplays, published and edited history books, and had short stories published in numerous science fiction anthologies. He is also the 5x-great-grandson of Rear Admiral Sir Charles Douglas, the subject of his book, Fortune's Favorite: Sir Charles Douglas and the Breaking of the Line, from Fireship Press. Christopher has won and placed in numerous contests, including:
