Short Bios

Born and raised in Woodstock, N.Y., I graduated from Georgetown University's School of Business Administration. Formerly a tax expert for a multinational accounting firm in the Washington, D.C. area, I have been an active member of the Maryland Writers' Association Screenplay Critique Group for nearly two decades and am a member of Women in Film and Video DC Chapter.

 

My first novel, McLeary's Mulligan, was published in 2004 under the Dark-N-Stormies imprint of Grace Abraham Publishing and finaled in the ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year Award and the USA Book News "Best Books" Award for Mystery / suspense.    The Screenplay adaptation of McLeary's Mulligan earned a "Top 100" in the Emerging Screenwriters Screenplay Competition, 2013 and earned Finalist in the 2016 Las Vegas International Screenwriting Competition. Rearranging Roxy (formerly Love, Dementia & Rock 'N' Roll) earned Finalist in the 2016 Creative World Awards, Quarter Finalist in the 2016 Fresh Voices Screenwriting Competition and Quarter Finalist in the 2016 Cinequest Screenwriting Competition.
