Short Bios

Lily is an actor, writer, director who has lived and worked all over the country. On stage she has worked extensively with lead roles in “Taming of the Shrew,” “The Heidi Chronicles,” and “The Search for signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe,” to name a few.  On the small screen she has appeared in NEWSROOM, THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW, LAW & ORDER: SVU, and was recently cast in SELFIE. On the larger screen she is known for AND THEN CAME LOVE, SPANDEX: A FATHER’s TALE, and THE BRAVE ONE.  In 2012 she turned her full attention to her writing and graduated from NYU with a MFA in Dramatic Writing.  There her full length play BEFORE A FALL was one of five finalists for the Goldberg Prize, and upon graduation she received the Charles Pupura Award for excellence.  Her screenplay FALLING INTO PLACE won for Best Drama in the Screenplay Festival 2008, and went on to final in seven other competitions.  In May of 2016 she won the ISA Fast Track Fellowship with her pilot NO MORE HEROES, a script that also placed fifth in the London competition Table Read My Screenplay.  Currently she is developing ta TV series, “Lost Women of American History, You Don’t Know the Half of It.”  She has also been the artistic director of two small professional theatres, and an adjunct professor teaching theatre arts, and business for artists.
