Our first anthology was released July 1, 2010, and we want to get started on the second, which has a target release date of January 1, 2011. A nice little opportunity to possibly earn a bit of money came up and I thought I would alert all of you to this: The city of Evanston, IL recently passed an ordinance that bans the use of handheld mobile devices while driving. The Evanston Community Media Center (www.ectv.com) is conducting a nationwide search for a 30 Second hands free in the car cellphone PSA, which will be filmed in late May of this year. The PSA is specifically to inform viewers of why it is not a good idea to use a handheld cell phone wile driving - more than the fact that it is a moving violation.

    There are currently very few Hands Free PSA's available and we intend to not only use this PSA on our local cable channels and web streams, but to also provide it to other outlets including the department of transportation, other Public Access Stations, the Oprah Winfrey "No Cell Phone Zone" campaign and to the Ad Council for general release.

    In addition, the chosen script will receive a $500 full release fee, writing credit and a copy of the final produced PSA.
