Practice Makes Perfect: Another Successful Virtual Pitch Challenge

By Caitlin Arcand • November 22, 2021

And just like that, another successful Virtual Pitch Challenge is in the books! We had a great evening at our Pitch Panel, where we heard valuable feedback from industry pro panelists Leyla Kader Dahm (Literary Manager at Zero Gravity Entertainment), Rebecca Windsor (Head of the Warner Brothers Television Workshop), Elly Lachman (Warner Brothers Television Workshop), and Alrik Bursell (Post Production Producer at Glass & Marker).

With every pitch, our industry pros emphasized the importance of character arcs, plot lines, and tone. Three crucial aspects of a successful story.

But more than anything, the key to nailing a pitch is practice, practice, practice! You only get one chance to make a first impression, and you want to make sure you are prepared and polished. So whether it's talking in the mirror or writing out note cards, there is no better time than now to start fine-tuning your presentation.

Now without further ado, please join us in congratulating the Grand Prize Winners and Finalists of our Virtual Pitch Challenge!
