We are a collective of producers, writers and union crew members who wish to see more content written by or about those under represented in American Cinema. The Little Screenwriters Competition was started by an International Cinematography Union crew member. We are the industry. This is nepotism at its best. Our judges consist of industry executives, SAG actors and crew members. Jim Tripp-Haith has extensive experience as a producer of such shows as Moesha, Eve, and Let's stay together, to name a few. Yakini Horn is a SAG actress whom has worked alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. in the ABC movie firelight.
This screenplay competition will be judged by people who work everyday in the industry and whom are currently looking for projects to produce. 2017 marks the first year of the Little Screenwriters Competition.
