Analysis & In-Depth Discussion of Cameron Crowe's screenplay ALOHA



ALOHA is a Comedy-Drama-Romance written and directed by Cameron Crowe starring Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, Bill Murray, and Alec Baldwin.


Scheduled for a May 2015 theatrical release, ALOHA is the story of a celebrated military defense contractor assigned to oversee the launch of a weapons satellite from Hawaii, who returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs with the US Space Program and re-connects with a long-ago love while unexpectedly falling ofr the hard-charging Air Force watchdog assigned to him.


Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Erik Bork will lead the analysis and discussion of Cameron Crowe's screenplay ALOHA. Erik has sold original drama series pitches, worked on the writing staff of two undefinedprimetime drama series, has written feature screenplays and has been employed as a writer by Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Jerry Bruckheimer, Imagine Entertainment (Ron Howard), Jersey Films (Danny DeVito), Original Film (Neil Moritz) and Dutch Oven (Doug Liman).  He has taught at The Writers Store and for NAtional University's MFA Screenwriting Program. StoryBoard Screenplay Development Group

StoryBoard Development Group, a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to screenwriting, meets on the 20th Century Fox studio lot on the 2nd Monday of every month for screenwriting analysis and in-depth discussions of current feature film screenplays. A different industry professional leads the group each month.


Read the script, analyze and discuss the screenwriting at the meeting.  Then go see the movie - It's a great experience and a unique opportunity to learn and improve your writing and filmmaking skills. 


Meeting fee includes a copy of the screenplay to be discussed and postage, as well as food and beverages at the meeting. 


Guests and prospective members should be activly involved in screenwriting and/or filmmaking and be familiar with established screenwriting principles and structure.
