An American-British thriller in which a disgraced member of the military poilce investigates a series of murders in Stalin-era Soviet Union. Based on the 2008 novel by Tom Rob Smith, which was inspired by real life serial killer Andrei Chikatilo. The screenplay was featured in the 2008 Blacklist.
Cast of the movie includes Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, Gary Oldman and Vincent Cassel.

Writer, Actor, Teacher Wendell Wellman (at right) will analyze the screenplay and lead an in-depth discussion. He has taught screenwriting at UCLA, and has written Firefox, Sudden Impact, and a final Dirty Harry script for Clint Eastwood. Trained at The Actors Studio and the Lee Strassberg Theatre Institute, Wendell has performed in feature films, on television and on stage. His current screenplay is an adaptation of the novel The River Journey by Robert Nathan Look for his excellent book A Writer's Roadmap at BN.com.
