In this interactive event, anti-racist educator and screenwriter Ashwini Prasad and story consultant and advocate Diane J. Wright will introduce you to the basics of inclusive storytelling for the screen. This discussion will be valuable for screenwriters of all levels.

Ashwini Prasad, The Inclusive Screenwriter, leads with equity and justice as her pillars in her work as an anti-racist educator and screenwriter. Her pillars were rooted in college which is now over 20 years of experience in anti-racism, anti-oppression and social justice work with two Master’s degrees in these focus areas. Her screenplays focus on bringing people who are erased/marginalized onto our screens. Her recent book, “How To Write Inclusively: An Analysis & How To Guide,” provides how tos on writing inclusively that is available for purchase on Amazon.
Diane J. Wright is a story consultant and ghostwriter focusing on diversity, inclusion, and authentic representation of the BIPoC, neurodiverse, and disabled communities. For over fifteen years, she has worked with producers, directors, and screenwriters to develop features and series for financing, casting, and production. Her north star is equality for all.
