ISA's Table Read Event - Elizabeth Kline Has No Friends by Emily Wahlund

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Join us online for the celebration of the Grand Prize winning feature script for the Spring 2022 Table Read My Screenplay Competition  - Elizabeth Kline Has No Friends by Emily Wahlund. After being shut out from her friend's wedding, a woman goes on a mission to make a new best friend-- only to discover how hard it is to make friends in your 30s.

"A great script with some thoughtful female characters who have their own voices and intertwine well. It is fun, funny, and entertaining. The writer shows great voice, there is a genuine spark, the characters feel real even at their silliest, while also saying something about friendships in the modern world."

Watch a performance of excerpts from the script, directed by Juanesta C. "Winnie" Holmes (The Upshaws, The Neighborhood, Girlfriends, Mixed-ish), followed by a Q&A with Emily Wahlund, Juanesta C. "Winnie" Holmes, lead actor, Danielle Swanson, and ISA's VP of Development, Felicity Wren.

WHEN: Friday, August 12th at 5pm PT / 8pm ET (Check your time zone)
WHERE: Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to you prior to the event.
