This event is open to all storytellers - screenwriters, TV writers, novelists, filmmakers, producers, agents, actors, development executives and more.

DAY 1:
PILAR ALESSANDRA will break down the craft of the page. She'll dig into pages focusing on the wording, action writing, character descriptions, dialogue, editing and scene activity. Using film clips and pages from well-crafted screenplays and TV shows, she'll take a look at writing style and voice. Then, Pilar will present a series of tested writing tools and techniques to help you craft your pages, rewrite your scenes and elevate your writing. You have explored character, arc, structure, and theme. You have outlined and beat out your story. Now what? The writing on page and execution of your story. Pilar will help you master it.

DAY 2:
CHRISTOPHER VOGLER will help you understand why you write, why you want to tell stories, the real purpose of storytelling (beyond your worthy and practical financial goals), and sharing your vision. Stimulating the motions of your audience is essential, and he will explore the pathways that link words on a page to the powerful emotional triggers within the human body. If you can do that, the rest will follow.

DAY 3:
LEE JESSUP will guide you, step-by-step, on how to create a successful screenwriting career. Once you have written your screenplay or original pilot, battled through multiple rewrites and applied the extensive notes from respected industry professionals, what do you do next? How do you utilize your completed work to move beyond "hard working, emerging writer" to a bona fide screenwriting professional? How do you create longevity in your career, rather than just be a flash in the pan? Lee will share with you the various paths available to today's career-focused writer in order to construct and sustain lasting employment in screenwriting.

In order to build a career in storytelling, not only do you need to understand craft, your own personal voice and why you tell the stories you tell, but you also need to have the tools to thrive in this business, whether you're a screenwriter, producer, executive or otherwise. This is a competitive industry and this three-day intensive will help you become a well-rounded storyteller and creator of your own success.

Seating is limited so please register today!
