Join us on zoom on February 24 for a FREE (Normally $29) Class with Max Timm: How to Create Something Original
2021 is off and running, and Max Timm - our Director of Education - is going to focus on a topic that he hasn't touched upon in these Connect classes before. There can be a very practical approach to harnessing your story's uniqueness, and most writers tend to skip past one of the most important story elements - Concept! In other words, we've found that writers might too easily accept that the first version of their conceptual idea is the best version, when we may just be scratching the surface.
So join Max Timm and your fellow ISA members to breakdown how your story's plot can help define your character's journey and thus the audience's experience. At the end of the day, we as writers must understand that while screenwriting can be a very personal process for the creator, it's just as much of a personal process for the reader and viewer. So let's make sure the initial conceptual brainstorms for your ideas are revving on all cylinders. This class will cover everything from Concept, to Character Development, to Structure - there is a lot to cover!
We will spend plenty of time on Q&A during this class, so please feel free to ask any questions at any time as Max intends to get to as many of them as time permits.
