JEN GRISANTIJEN GRISANTI is a Story/Career Consultant, Writing Instructor of Writers on the Verge at NBC and former twelve-year studio executive has learned what it takes to transform a non-working writer into a working writer. She gained valuable working experience as the VP of Current Programing at CBS Paramount Network Television, Inc. and Head of Current Programs for Aaron Spelling's company, Spelling Television, Inc. During her tenure Jen worked with producers and writers on the execution of shows such as: Medium, Numbers, NCIS, Girlfriends, Charmed, Seventh Heaven, Melrose Place, 90210 and many more. She has helped to launch countless writing careers over the last twenty-five years. FORTY OF HER CLIENTS HAVE SOLD PILOTS and five of them have gone to series. MICHAEL HAUGE has been one of Hollywood's top script consultants, story experts and authors for more than 30 years. PILAR ALESSANDRA is the director of the writing program On the Page®, host of the popular On the Page Podcast and author of "The Coffee Break Screenwriter." Pilar started her career as Senior Story Analyst at DreamWorks SKG and in 2001 opened the On the Page Writers' Studio in Los Angeles. Her students and clients have written for The Walking Dead, Lost, Grey's Anatomy and Family Guy. They've sold features and pitches to Warner Bros, DreamWorks, Disney and Sony and have won the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship, Austin Screenwriting Competition and Warner Bros. TV Writing Workshop. Pilar has trained writers at ABC/Disney and CBS and traveled the world teaching in London, Beijing, Warsaw, Lisbon and Cape Town. CHRISTOPHER VOGLER is a veteran Hollywood story consultant known the world over for his landmark books THE WRITER'S JOURNEY: Mythic Structure for Storytellers and MEMO FROM THE STORY DEPARTMENT: Secrets of Structure and Character (co-written with David McKenna). Vogler began his career as a documentary filmmaker for the US Air Force's space program. After film school at USC, he entered the Hollywood studio system as a story analyst and eventually became a studio development executive and consultant to major directors and stars. While working in the Disney story department he wrote an influential memo on the Hero's Journey pattern that became part of Hollywood story legend. As a consultant he has influenced the stories of many productions including THE LION KING, FIGHT CLUB, 10,000 BC, Darren Aronofsky's THE WRESTLER and NOAH, Will Smith's FOCUS, HANCOCK, MEN IN BLACK III, I AM LEGEND, etc.
