Research: You are smart, articulate and resourceful, which translates to being great at exploring story ideas based on established series themes (scripted/fiction and narrative/historical). A deep understanding of Indian culture and history is a must, as is strong organizational and English writing skills.
Translation: If you are fluent in English and Hindi and are experienced in script writing (multiple genres and sensibilities are a plus), this could be a great gig for you. Scripts will be written in the US then translated in Mumbai into Hindi before being produced in Mumbai (live action and animated).
In both roles, a passion for television, specifically content for children, is mission critical.
You must be highly reliable, able to take the position on a full-time basis, with no professional conflicts or time commitments. Ideal candidates will be self-starters, hard-working, eager to be a part of a growing and passionate company, and as such be flexible and clever in approaching assignments and able to multi-task at an exceptional level. You will have bosses locally and in the US.
Samples will be reviewed, at least two phone and one in-person (Mumbai) interviews will be conducted for any serious candidate.
