My name is Christopher Ameida I am a writer. I haven’t
always pursued the career path I have recently chosen. To be
honest I really did not know that I was a writer till a few
years ago. My background consists of an extensive knowledge in
customer service and sales industry. Which has served me well.
But as faith has it in 2004 I became a father and I knew right
then a their holding my son for the first time I had no sense of
direction pertaining to where my life was headed. All I was sure
was that I was a father and I would do my best to raise my son
right. So, I decide to jump out of the plane with no Parachute
sort of speak and quit the sales industry which at the time I
was in the top of my sales career. I felt relieved with a sense
of direction breathing in this breathe of faith. I took my first
step toward my passion and began my journey into the
entertainment industry. I knew that if I could work my way up in
the sales industry then I could do so in any other industry. It
became my mission to find my way.
I worked as an intern for local radio stations. I did
street team for production studios. Every day I would wake up
and go make my way through countless and countless rejection. I
found that my drive was becoming fierce if I keep faith as my
guide. When nothing was available I invested in camera equipment
and a MacBook. I would write treatments for my childhood friends
independent local artist for their music videos and short films.
There was nothing that would stop me from becoming a successful
writer. A task I set out to be. An example to my son that in
life we find out what we can do well what we are passionate
about and what purpose we have. So, in 2013 I enrolled into The
Los Angeles Film School. Where I picked up the tools to
equipment myself as a screenwriter. Since then I have written
many short films and features. I continue to add and explore my
passion in writing.
So, my reason for sending in this letter of intent is to
simply be the writer I set out to be. I only promise hard work
ethics sharp student involvement with a never-ending desire to
always learn and be taught. So, if you see such an addition to
the already talented individuals you have then I am here to
write. Thanks for the opportunity.
