Frequent writing partner (and comics legend) Jimmy Palmiotti (Harley Quinn, Painkiller Jane, Deadpool, Black Panther) and I have been hired by MiLa Media to adapt Jimmy's graphic novel Queen Crab into a TV series. We optioned our adaptation of Jimmy's and Marvel EVP Joe Quesada's Painkiler Jane to Solipsist Films. Our adaptation of the graphic novel Back to Brooklyn, which Jimmy created/wrote with Preacher’s and The Boys' Garth Ennis, is being shopped by David Server at Archetype. Our graphic novel, Killing Time in America, was published in 2018. Two others are due out in 2021.
On the solo front, I'm writing a feature-length action thriller for Leigh Simons Productions. My crime thriller Diamond Payback was optioned to Emmett Furla Oasis Films after being a finalist in a couple screenwriting contests. It's also a Script Pipeline "Recommend."
In an entirely different universe, Mia's Gift: A Muzzles the Manatee Story, a middle-grade novel I wrote with my wife, Victoria, won three national awards and reached #5 on Amazon's Hot New Releases list. The awards are listed on our website: MuzzlesTheManatee.com. In addition, you'll find the first two chapters of Mia's Gift, along with a couple animated kids TV shows I wrote.
