Shane was recently named the category winner in the Filmmatic Drama Screenplay Awards for her half-hour drama pilot, Cannabiz. This is an interesting success worth noting due to the fact that the half-hour drama format is still a very new, niche, not often used, format. Yet, Shane still pulled through with a win, beating all the other traditional hour-long drama screenplays submitted.

Thanks to the amazing Table Read My Screenplay event at the Sundance Film Festival of Shane Elizabeth's award winning script, she has been hired by a VR company to write for them. The CEO and COO of ROTU Entertainment attended the table read of her script, CANNABIZ. They were so impressed, they followed up with her post Sundance and gave Shane her first official "paid writing gig." Shane wrote the script for their arcade version of the first installment for their VR game they have been developing for the past 10 years. In addition, Shane also served as the Script Supervisor on set during production and assisted the director in directing the actors. Her words will soon be heard, seen, and played in arcades all across the U.S. come 2020.

Shane Elizabeth is a Quarter-finalist at the LA International Screenplay Awards, rising out of 2000 other scripts with her TV pilot, BRENTHOOD.

Shane Elizabeth's Grand Prize Winning script was selected for The Table Read My Screenplay event at the Sundance Film Festival 2019. The script was incredibly well received by the festival audience, and the talented cast nailed Shane's vision, with the crowd responding with genuine enthusiasm with many laughs and applause after line deliveries. This was a promising and amazing event, and confirmed that this Pilot has an audience and that this concept and has potential for the future.
