We are seeking writing interns comfortable in social settings to interface with readers and authors, while attending book fairs and educational events as a representative of New Classics Books. The internship is very flexible and will be conducted on an as needed and as available basis. The purpose of the internship is to expose budding authors to the publishing industry, while helping New Classics Books promote new titles being released for publication. The focus is on publicity and social outreach and should provide an opportunity to network with people in publishing. Interns will be compensated with meals and travel and given access to special industry events. Must be available October 26th. for CSUN Family Education Day in Northridge, CA, from 8am-3pm. Internship will begin in the next few weeks and run until the end of the year. A minimum of 20 hours a month is required and may involve emailing and research related to upcoming events.
