 There are three main categories you may enter your script into:
- SHORT FILM: Up to 45 pages.
- FEATURE-LENGTH: Up to 200 pages
- TV PILOT : Up to 75 pages.

We offer the choice of receiving feedback on your screenplay at an extra cost. Feedback will be provided by our qualified script consultants.

We provide an in-depth and thorough analysis of your screenplay. Passing through not one, but two pairs of eyes!

Notes submitted by the judge of your script will be passed on directly to one of our professional script consultants (who reads it again).

All ages are eligible.

Material submitted must be written and owned by the person submitting. You may submit as many entries as you like.

All entries must be uploaded in PDF format.

You may resubmit your entered script once at the discretion of Screenwriters Network. This will be dependent on where the script is in our process and whether this has already been assigned to a reader/ judge.

If submitting as a team a singular prize package (only) will be made out to the initial person who submitted.

Scripts submitted to the SWN Screenplay Competition are protected and remain the owner of the person(s) that submitted.

-You can submit as many scripts as you like, there is no limit!

-DO YOU TAKE ENTRIES FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES?

-We welcome and encourage scripts from all corners of the world. As long as your script is written in English, it doesn’t matter where you are submitting from.

-WHEN IS THE DEADLINE AND NOTIFICATION DATE?

The final deadline for submission into the SWN screenplay contest is 31st July 2021.

Notification dates are as follows:

-SHOULD I INCLUDE MY CONTACT DETAILS ON THE TITLE PAGE? 

-We will accept a title page with your contact details however we do prefer that you leave them off, as we judge your script anonymously. 

-CAN I RESUBMIT AN UPDATED DRAFT AFTER INITIAL SUBMISSION?

-You can update your script one additional time up until the late deadline on 24th July, so we advise writers to be absolutely sure which draft they want to resubmit. Especially writers that opt in for coverage halfway through the competition, if you want to update your script I would be cognizant of your one chance.

-IS MY SCRIPT SAFE IN THE HANDS OF SCREENWRITERS NETWORK?

-Your screenplay is handed to one of our trusted and heavily vetted readers, who sign non-disclosure agreements before reading any material. On top of that, title pages and other writer information is removed and hidden from readers so they are not able to see any information on the writer including gender, age or location.

-HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY ENTRY HAS BEEN RECEIVED TO SCREENWRITERS NETWORK? 

-You will receive an email immediately to confirm that your order has been placed. If you don't receive this then please check your junk mail and if you are still unable to locate then please contact us for confirmation.
