The mission of the "I See You Awards®" is to recognize and reward low-budget independent filmmakers.
The "I See You Awards®" fill a niche and create a platform for recognizing independent filmmakers that is currently missing in mainstream Hollywood.
All submissions are eligible to receive detailed notes and feedback. Refer to our Feedback section for details and fees.
Winners receive publicity! The winners names and the titles of their screenplays are included in our always-popular blog post on the I See You Awards website, which will be shared on our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) as well.
The winners' names, along with the titles of their screenplays, are announced during our annual Black Tie, Blue Carpet awards ceremony. The 2022 awards ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, August 29, 2022.

2022 I See You Awards
The official home of the I See You Awards is the Emagine Theater in beautiful, downtown Royal Oak, Michigan. Please keep in mind that some event details, including the venue, may change due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Winners receive a beautiful, personalized, framed award certificate. There is no other one like it!
Publicity! The names of the winners are included in a blog post on our website, which is also featured on our social media pages: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Submit your original work for Best Original Screenplay consideration. Shorts, features and webisodes are eligible to submit.
Screenplays entered in the Feature category should be at least 70 pages in length.
Shorts and webisodes should not exceed 30 pages.
There is no guarantee that submissions will be chosen as an official selection. Those that are chosen will be notified by the official notification date of July 20, 2021.
Up to four scripts may be submitted on one entry form. Additional scripts need to be submitted on a separate/additional entry form. Once material is submitted, no substitutions or new drafts will be allowed. If a writer wants to submit an updated script, the writer will need to complete a new entry form and pay the appropriate entry fee.
Promotional discounts must be utilized at the time of the original submission.
Feedback is a separate service that requires an additional fee. At the time of submission, make sure to request the desired feedback which includes the appropriate fee.
Q: When will writers be notified of decisions regarding the 2022 "I See You Awards™"?
A: Screenplays nominated for awards will be announced no later than July 20, 2022.
Q: What is the deadline for submissions?
A: The extended deadline is June 30, 2022. However, keep in mind that the submission fee goes up once each deadline passes.
Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: We accept payments via PayPal through the ISA website.
First 20 pages feedback: Your screenplay should hook the reader within the first 20 pages. You'll want to make sure that your script hooks the reader so that they want to keep reading and find out what happens next. This feedback will answer that for you.
General Feedback (1-2 pages of notes): You've written your screenplay, and perhaps you've even rewritten it. We'll read your entire script and you'll receive personalized notes, including what we see, what we think and suggestions on how to enhance it.
Detailed Feedback (up to 4 pages): Selecting this option will provide writers with a detailed analysis of their script, including suggestions on how to improve the writing, story, structure and more, such as how to up the stakes.
