Brady’s dad once rented a movie for his kids so he could take his mom out on a date. The movie was the James Cameron classic Aliens. Brady was five. Somewhere around the traumatizing scene where a woman begs to be killed with a flamethrower while an alien bursts out of her chest, Brady realized two things. One, he was going to have nightmares for a very long time. Two, whatever he was watching, however it was made, he wanted to do that.
In the intervening 30+ years, Brady has written dozens of scripts, some of which have placed in contests and/or been optioned. He’s attended workshops like the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Workshop and had stories published in magazines like Clarkesworld. And he’s made his own feature film, Outrage, available on Amazon. At any given time he has at least one project he’s writing and half-a-dozen he’s thinking about. He splits his time between Los Angeles and Palm Springs.
