Eva Swan’s writing is the voice of your best friend, whispering cleverly inappropriate jokes in the middle of that drink of water.  Damn you, Eva! In 1980’s Kentucky, her babysitter was a television, so she delighted in the comedy of Merry Melodies, Mel Brooks, the Muppets and anything magical realism.     An LA-based writer, Eva creates original works that are rich in character, compelling emotionally and generally edgy. Her side bitch is development – helping others bring ideas to an awesome place. And punching up their jokes (even if they didn’t ask her to)!   Currently, she just completed a romantic comedy pilot TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, PLEASE as well as a big budget fantasy/comedy feature (MONSTRO CITY). Eva is also developing an historical fiction film centered on Mark Twain and the writing of his most misunderstood novel, Joan of Arc.  Eva is a member of Women In Media, SAG-AFTRA and Safehouse - a weekly Westside writers’ group.
