Jason Anthony Fisher is a studio sold and optioned screenwriter. He is also a multi-nominated, and award-winning writer/director/producer. Most recently his screenplay titled Beating Vegas won the 3rd place prize at the 2017 screenplay contest of the Nevada International Film Festival in Las Vegas. His short film Plea or Not to Plea, was nominated for best short film at both the 3rd annual Marietta International Film Festival in Atlanta in 2017, and the 6th Annual Georgia Latino Film Festival in 2017, then won the Gold Reel Award at the 2017 Nevada International Film Festival in Las Vegas. In 2015, he won the Platinum Reel Award for his film A.K.A. The Surgeon at the Nevada International Film Festival.
He began as an actor/writer, but has developed other skill sets over the years and is now a writer, director, producer, and actor, known for Foreclosure City (2010), Punching Bag (2012), A.K.A. The Surgeon (2015), Plea or Not to Plea (2017), Summer of Hearts (2017). He is branching out even further from his passion and pursuit of making feature films and has started to write material for reality projects.
Jason has studied the craft of writing for the screen under several of the leading gurus, who have either studied or taught at prestigious institutions: Pilar Allesandra (Taught at UCLA's Extension program), Wendal Thomas (Adjunct screenwriting Professor at UCLA), Karl Iglesias (Cornel University), Blake Snyder (Georgetown University), and Daniel P. Calvisi (NYU).
