In my twenty years as a writer and editor in the advertising and publishing worlds, I've been fortunate to create compelling copy and TV/radio spots for niche marketers (Paul Prudhomme, Town and Country Homes) on up to major corporations (TBS, BMW, Wolverine Boots, Citibank).
As the author of multiple screenplays and a host of short stories, I specialize in powerful, envelope-pushing stories. From conspiracy-filled TV dramas ("Shadeville") to a romantic comedy with a unique thriller twist ("Paige Turner"), from a dark but honest look at the very real Men in Black ("Silencers") and a John Grisham-inspired courtroom drama with sci-fi overtones ("Oblivion") to a wild-ride female-focused buddy comedy centered around cannabis legalization ("Welcome to Highville") and a sci-fi series written in the style of 1950s classic science fiction (“H is for Human”), my writing is unpredictable but always intelligent and entertaining.
I also perform rewrites, script doctoring and editing for a wide range of clients, from an Indonesian company crearting a World War II adventure story based on real events ("Flying Tiger") to a French company that wanted a Star Wars proof-of-concept piece featuring the fan favorite, Boba Fett (written twelve years ago, before "The Mandalorian" was even considered). I've just completed editing a feature-length script, "Dreamers," for a screenwriter in Los Angeles, where I edited close to 80% of the entire script. The client said these kind words when she received the final version:
"You did far more than I expected, and in every case, your judgement was right. You made corrections and improvements that I never would have thought to make on my own. I'm really glad I chose you as my editor among the more than fifty emails I received. Thank you! Let's keep in touch!" -- Y.N.
