Adele writes thrillers, often with borders and migration in the mix. She focuses on grounded, suspense-filled stories, with characters that have real dirt under their nails and secrets to keep - even as they fight to survive.

A migrant living in Australia, she has also lived and worked in Aotearoa/New Zealand, the U.S. and the U.K. - and her experiences of migration and commitment to migrant rights are part of what drives her to write screenplays. 

Adele is an Nicholl finalist and Shore Script Feature Contest winner with NO GHOSTS TONIGHT and reached the Nicholl quarter-finals with DUST ON DIRT.
