My name is Alice Wells and I am an independent award-winning Executive Producer and Screenwriter, Director, Producer, Casting Director, Film Investor, and part of the progressive metal/rock band Electric Alice. I'm a aGen-X nerd with a passion for genre-jumping comedy, dark comedy, horror, thrillers, action and sci-fi, I started working and playing on computers and was involved with sports and dancing at a very young age. Combining my love of films/tv and expertise gained through my business career, I first focused on investing in indie projects such as Curiosity, Death & Ramen, I Want to Live on Mars, Take Me to Tarzana, I'll Be Next Door For Christmas, and as a Co-owner in Legion M, I have supported Mandy, Archenemy, Color out of Space, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Bad Samaritan, Save Yourselves!, The Field Guide to Evil, Tolkien, Girl With No Name (Comic Book), Memory: The Origins of Alien, Shape of Water, and the upcoming 'The White Van’. My produced horror/thriller/dark comedy TV pilot proof of concept, 'John Sunshine’s Lost Rock ‘n’ Roll Tapes' has been ranked #1 for half-hour TV Thrillers on Coverfly’s The Red List as well as #7 for horrors. Throughout my business career, I have worked on projects for companies such as Microsoft, Ford Music, Volvo, PGA, JPL/NASA, Nasdaq, Reebok Europe, Riddell, LA Rams and many other worldwide clients covering a wide range of industries.
