Pulling from her own experience as an immigrant kid from a Mexican border town, Angela writes dramas and dramedies that often feature fish-out-of-water characters struggling to adapt. She was recently staffed on the CW show KUNG FU as well as on the WBTV series OVER MY DEAD BODY.  Previously, she was the Writers' Assistant on SACRIFICE starring Paula Patton for BET, and she also co-wrote an episode. Before that, she was a producer, writer, and director of digital series and branded content for a myriad of clients, including Facebook, IBM, American Express, and Marriott. Her short film for Cornetto was nominated for a Shots Young Directors Award at Cannes Lions, while the first short film she wrote and directed premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival. Angela holds a B.A. from Yale University and is an alumna of NALIP's Writers Lab and NHMC's Series Scriptwriters Program. Angela is repped by Ken Freimann at Circle of Confusion. Last but not least, she loves to travel in her spare time, with a camera that rarely leaves her side.
