Biography

Anne Mount (left) began publishing poetry at age 16 and became an award-winning journalist while still in college. Her journey took her to New York City where she was on staff of several magazines, including, Harper's Bazaar. She spent many years researching and writing mostly incredible stories about fascinating people for Mademoiselle, Seventeen, Harper's Bazaar, McCall's, Bride's, Working Mother, Reader's Digest, San Francisco Chronicle, The Dallas Morning News, and other publications. Her stint as a Literary Guild author landed her many interviews on national television programs, including the Today Show. Needless-to-say, all of this valuable media experience played very well into her passion several years ago for writing screenplays. Having studied at UCLA and with famous script consultant, Linda Seger, she has a collection of well developed scripts and always working on more. With her business partner, Emmy award-winning producer, Lindsay Mayer, (ABC; TV show, Nashville, the Oscars, films), they make a great team.
