Dr. Anne Watson, now a retired Special Education Psychologist from Canada, grew up in England, earning her “walking dictionary” nickname. "Let’s put on a play” is how she enjoys a social and intellectual life to this day, and has taken acting awards in the Cayman Islands, and in Peterborough, Ontario, as well as written, produced, directed and/or acted in Bocas del Toro and Coronado, Panama, and Lake Worth, Florida, wherever her gypsy soul takes her. She traveled around the world before earning her Doctorate. She was a Prof at UBC and Trent U. Published Works include 4 Books, 2 Professional Articles, 2 magazine articles and 4 Produced Plays. Awards include 2 Canada Council Doctoral Fellowships, 4 Best Actress, 1 Teacher of the Year (Palm Beach County). No writing compares to the complex challenge and satisfaction of writing a screenplay.
Currently, I am ghostwriting a memoir for a client in Mexico.
The Toronto International Women Film Festival recently awarded my film the “Best Unproduced Script.”
