Beth Dodson is a screenwriter, storyteller, and story development consultant who recently earned her MFA in Writing for the Screen and Television at USC. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at Biola University's new School of Cinema and Media Arts, teaching Art of Storytelling.
In 2015, Beth's feature script "Only Life" won the 2015 Pantelion Screenwriting Contest--a $25,000 scholarship. Her contained thriller, "72 Hours," placed in the top 10% at Nicholl's in 2018. Beth is currently working on a TV pilot called "Partial", an hour long drama set in a partial psychiatric hospital that follows a kind-hearted but inexperienced social work intern as she helps people struggling with mental illness reintegrate into their communities.
Last December, Beth wrote and produced a short film called "She is Me," which addresses the highly relevant topic of violence against people of color by law enforcement. The film is currently in post-production with a projected release date of May 3rd, 2019
A native of Philadelphia, Beth is an avid Eagles fan and Wawa-holic. She loves board games and her mom.
