Carl Huebner is an award-winning, optioned screenwriter with over a decade of experience. He has had a feature and a TV concept optioned by major studios/networks and honored at festivals. He recently won awards in The LA Screenplay Competition, The New York Screenplay Contest, The Tribeca Film Festival, ScreenCraft, StoryPros, and The Writer’s Place Contest, and is on Coverfly's Red List.
He is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in film production and a concentration in dramatic writing and interactive technology. He ran a private screenwriting group for 7 years, and has taught screenwriting at the university level.
Carl brings his experience from formerly working in development at a major television network to his work, knowing what needs to be included and how it should be presented to best get producer and executive attention.
When he isn’t writing, Carl spends his time exploring new technologies and devising ways they can be used to enhance narrative content, as well as ways narratives can be improved in interactive and gaming.
