Graduated Wake Forest University with a Bachelors in Philosophy. He served as a staff writer and blogger for the Old Gold and Black newspaper. He has published in the college literary magazine 3 to 4 Ounces and placed in both local and national essay contests. He took 2nd place in the Avar Press Literary Essay Contest in 2012 and 3rd place in the Freedom From Religion Foundation Essay Contest in 2011.
In 2016 he was selected as a fellow in the 2016 CAPE New Writers Fellowship for his screenwriting.
