Cole Potter is an prolific storyteller who has assembled a diverse portfolio of finished literary works that include a 109-page Feature dramedy, "Slippery Slope", a 97-page Feature military drama, "Silver Patriots" that would naturally extend into a series, an 83-page Animated Feature drama, "Save the Dragons, and a 13-page Short historical fiction drama, "Kaitar the Chosen". He is currently writing his procedural espionage drama, "Does Anybody Speak English?" (ECD August 2025) and his first Sci-Fi Feature drama, "Hell Hole" (ECD October 2025).
An insatiable award-winning yet unpublished/unproduced creator, Cole has also written an unpublished 388-page historical fiction novel, "Kaitar the Chosen", and innovated a working invention prototype. As a lyricist, he has competed his original songs on stage in Nashville.
For decades, Cole eschewed the concept of writing fiction by formula. It seemed unconscionable to handcuff protagonists and require them to do the writer's bidding rather than covertly follow them as their own journeys unfolded. To manipulate their stories for profits and marketability felt a betrayal to those characters. Now, years later, Cole welcomes their amazing stories to be enjoyed publicly as he has cherished them.
Cole's creativity is fueled by his own adventurous life experiences that include living in China, Chile and Mexico. He has ridden dogsleds in Alaska under northern lights and elephants bareback in Thailand jungle. He has swam alongside over a dozen humpback whales in Tonga in open sea, driven the Australian Outback, dove with barracuda in the GBR, and has been chased by a bear while hiking in the woods. An adventurous life has complimented his inspired writings. Like a parent celebrating their child's achievements, Cole loves to discover how his characters will deal with challenging predicaments. Hopefully, you will enjoy them as he has.
