Biography

DEBORAH J LEDFORD is a screenwriter and the award-winning author of the Inola Walela/Steven Hawk psychological suspense thriller series, including The Hillerman Sky Award Finalist SNARE and STACCATO.

CAUSING CHAOS and CRESCENDO, are also Anthony Award Finalists for Best Audiobook. Narrated by TV and film actress Christina Cox (Elementary, Shadowhuters, Dexter, NCIS, 24, Elysium, Chronicles of Riddick, Nikki & Nora), the recordings are produced by IOF Productions Ltd.

Edgar Award winner, and three-time nominee for the Pushcart Prize, she is an adjunct Professor for Arizona State University's Piper Writer Center for Creative Writing, and past-president of Sisters in Crime Desert Sleuths (AZ chapter). Deborah is part Eastern Band Cherokee and spent her summers growing up in the Great Smoky Mountains region of North Carolina where her book series is set.
