Deborah Louise Ortiz started her career as an actress in NYC. She perfomed in many theatrical producutions when she became fustrated at the limited amount of roles that contained substance for women. She decided to write her own theatrcial pieces and fell in love with the writing process.  She then went onto to perform and produce her own work ( Changingviolet.com) while she began putting together her production company. with her producing partner. called Dangerous Curves Productions ( Dangercurves.com ). Deborah started writing sceeenplays based on real life events and due to budgeting restraints to produce one of her screenplays, she embarked on working on her first documentrary based on the subject matter of her script, which has received countless awards. To date, she has produced 2 award winning documentaries and is currently producing and writing for 2 more.  She is currently working on her first feature film with her writing partner, in the thriller/horror genre which is currently in the pre develpment stage and is busy pitching her TV series "The Ortiz Sisters" to interested investors. Writing and producing projects has become Deborah's passion and hopes to be able to work with other women to help bring their vision to the screen.
