Emily Adams is a writer and actor based in Brooklyn, NY. Last fall, Adams was selected for the 2024 Black List Writers Lab in Ojai, CA. Before that, Emily's coming-of-age dramedy MARGOT was featured on the 2020 Black List. On the feature side, Adams has developed with Ace Entertainment, Chef’s Kiss Productions, Story in the Sky and more. Jacki Glick (BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY) is producing Emily’s delayed coming-of-age dramedy ELAINE with Broadway director Sammi Cannold attached to direct. Adams has worked for Netflix, ABC, and Apatow Productions. When Emily isn't writing about women twice her age, she can be found photographing her cat, Robert De Niro, muttering about cancerous moles, and / or inhaling a croissant over a public trash can. On the acting frontier, Adams is set to star in Rex Provost's feature debut YOUTHFUL PLEASURES, opposite ANORA's Luna Sofía Miranda.
