Felicia is a self-taught Mexican-American director and writer based in Los Angeles. She is deeply passionate about human-interest stories, particularly those that offer intimate glimpses into everyday life. She founded Feee Films, an independent production company, which creates narratively-led commercials, branded content, animation and music videos.
Her work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Beyond the Short, Booooooom, Girls in Film, and Directors Notes. She is a Women in Film Mentee, 2023 Stowe Producers Lab Fellow, a finalist with the Commercial Directors Diversity Program, and was shortlisted for the 2023 Young Director Award at Cannes Lion.
Felicia's debut short film, 'THE BUYERS,' premiered at the Dallas International Film Festival and the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival. Her second short film, 'FAST FOOD,' had its premiere at the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival. She is drawn to intimate stories that delve into the complexities of the human condition, often focusing on the experiences of women and BIPOC characters.
