My industry involvement began right out of college. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA,and began work at MGM Studios in the publicity department.  Three years later, I was recruited by Disney Studios and was Senior publicist for TV, renamed the Disney TV show with Roy Disney's blessing, wrote 3 WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY TV episodes, and then went freelance to write the movie THE DEVIL'S RAIN, starring William Shatner and Ernest Borgnine. I went on to write 3 episodes of POLICEWOMAN with Angie Dickenson, and one episode of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. Then was tapped to write and direct the TV series THE EXCITING WORLD OF SPEED AND BEAUTY with Elke Sommer.  This led to being hired to co-write and co-direct the independent HBO film BLACKFEATHER: OUT OF THE WILDERNESS starring David Carradine and Kelley Miles, and which was filmed in Oregon.
