Biography

Raised in New York, I studied journalism at the New School for Social Research, Sociology at Brooklyn College and design at New York School of Interior Design. I segued from Art Direction into Production Design and have 27 films to my credit with one nomination for an HBO feature, "Long Gone".  When I sold my first screenplay, I joined WGA,w and alternated careers between writing on assignment and Production Design. 

May 2014 I was one of two Americans accepted into the Plume et Pellicule DreamAgo Screenwriting Workshop in Sierre, Switzerland for "Holy Mackerel".  There were only 9 of us in the program. I have since been accepted into "Meet Your Match" which took place in Los Angeles Nov. 2014.  

May 2015, I was the only American accepted into the Plume et Pellicule DreamAgo Screenwriting Workshop in Sierre, Switzerland for "Pardon Me For Living". There were 10 of us in the program. 

2011 - Won 2nd Place in the Final Draft Big Break Screenplay Contest for "Holy Mackerel".

2012 - Script Pipeline Finalist for "Holy Mackerel".

2014 - Story Pros International  Third Place for "Holy Mackerel".

2014 - Creative world Awards Finalist for "Holy Mackerel".

2014 - Fresh Voices  Quarter-Finalist for "Holy Mackerel".

2015 - Academy Nicoll Fellowship Semi-Finalist for "Holy Mackerel".

2015 - ISA Emerging Screenwriters Competition 3rd Place for "Holy Mackerel".

2016 - Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest  Quarter-Finalist for "Blame It On The Chickens".

2017 Screencraft Cinematic Short Story Contest Quarter-Finalist for "Whisper In My Ear Maxine". 

2019 Fresh Voices Quarter-Finalist for "Divine Rapture...Again"
