Grant is a crime/comedy writer based in Contra Costa County in Northern California. He's written several screenplays and has a non-fiction true crime manuscript ready for publication. Grant's favorite film is "My Cousin Vinny," his favorite true crime book is "Hands Through Stone" by James Ardaiz, and he reads court opinions for inspiration. He is perhaps the only writer to interview the inner circle of the Family Affiliated Irish Mafia (FAIM), an organization classified as a Disruptive Group by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Grant has participated in RoadMap Writers workshops. His 1-Hour Pilot "Halfway House From Hell" was a semi-finalist in the Filmmatic Comedy Screenplay Awards Season 6 and his feature true crime dramedy "The Affiliated" was a semi finalist in the 2022 Emerging Screenwriters Genre Screenplay Competition.
