The author of three published nonfiction books and several scholarly legal journal articles, former online investigative reporter and legal commentator, singer/songwriter, and former stage actress. My books, articles, and 1998 CD of original songs (very dark) can be found by googling my former legal name: Jennifer Van Bergen.Studied screenwriting at the New School University with Rena Down (writer on "Falcon Crest" and "Dallas") in the 1990's and have taken Hal Croasmun's Pro Series class. Have written and produced the songs to a musical play based on my groundbreaking nonfiction scholarly historial book: "MALICE: Thomas Jefferson's Conspiracy to Destroy Aaron Burr." (True story.) I have a BA from NYU (theater/writing), JD from Cardozo Law School. Received my acting/theater/music training early in life, grew up on Shakespeare and Shaw.
