Ian is a Writers Guild of Great Britain (WGGB) Member
and has written several screenplays besides his most current
dramatic and fully developed TV Pilot (a twelve episode screenplay)
of the novel "Rendezvous in Majorca" completed in November of 2019.
In addition, Ian's dramatic crime thriller "Fontana" -
is an AWARD FINALIST in the 2019 Peachtree Village International
Film Festival in Atlanta, GA , an AWARD FINALIST in the
UK Film Festival in London, UK and just this month (Nov. 2019),
a SEMI-FINALIST in the 2019 Big Apple Film Festival
and Screenplay Competition (NYC).
Ian's screenplay, "The Boy Who Rode The Dragon" -
is also a New York Film Festival 2019 AWARD WINNER
- and a European Film Festival 2019 FINALIST.
One of Ian's screenplays is currently Optioned,
"The Blue Wall", it's another exciting blend of WWII history,
in a modern crime thriller.
Other developed screenplays are - "The Cricketer" -
Australian Film Festival AWARD 2016 - "Gold Quest" -
- "Pyramid Mountain" - "StarFish Prime" - "Carnal Designs" -
"Probability" - and "The Sky Club" (a TV - Mini-Series).
Drawing on his background as an officer in the US Army's
Military Police during the Vietnam era (1967-1973), as well as
his English Nana's Diaries, while she was working as an
agent for British SIS and imbedded as as Double within
the German Abwehr from the 1930's then later her writings
after WWII, Ian has a passion for intrigue and how it weaves
into history.
Ian is also a novelist and his first book (c.2002 ),
"The Sky Club" was an historical fiction that crossed the globe
beginning in his adopted hometown of Asheville, deep in the
Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
It involves a mysterious Chateau above the City, that actually
exists today from the shadow years before the Second World War.
He's also written "Rendezvous in Majorca"(c.2004),
a Cold War sequel to "The Sky Club", followed by the dark
and ominous work "Har Megiddon - The Final Armageddon"(c.2019),
the last element in his trilogy of historical novels.
"Har Megiddon" exposes the obscure truth behind the DOE's removal
of two hundred of the massive Titan II ICBM Missiles
(The world's most powerful nuclear ICBM - at nine megatons of TNT).
A thermonuclear arsenal of twenty of the decommissioned Titan II's,
were purported to be secretly provided to Israel by its powerful
US supporter, General Alexander Haig , while he was in control
of the United States' Nuclear Arsenal Reduction in the early
months of President Reagan's first term in 1981
(following Reagan's March 1981 attempted assassination).
Ian is always writing either screenplays or novels,
some based on clandestine historical tales or amazing crime
stories, while others are based on creative concepts
