Jessie is a production assistant turned development executive turned TV writer with additional background in theater, literature, and comedy studies. She's a Chicago native who most recently worked for celebrated director Thomas Schlamme running development for his production company and is now looking for staffing and writer's/showrunner's assistant opportunities. Her pilot "The Monks" has garnered several recent accolades including being the only half-hour comedy in the Top Ten Finalists of Emerging Screenplays 2024, as well as quarterfinalist in Screencraft's TV Pilot Competition 2024 and Outstanding Screenplays 2023, and semifinalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards last spring.
