LAUREN DUNITZ’s TV and feature scripts have earned her Finalist status at the International Screenwriters’ Association, HollyShorts Screenwriting Competition, Emerging Writers Outstanding Screenplay TV Pilot Competition, and the ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition. Her short film WHITEBOY was awarded a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressional Representative Laura Friedman. She is currently a candidate for The Future of Film is Female Short Film Fund sponsored by NEON.
Lauren’s work is funny and scary. She’s concerned with female group dynamics and the complex and subtle ways in which women relate to one another. She is also fascinated by reality TV’s and social media’s effects on women in the post-modern world.
She is currently in development of her first feature, STAN.
