As a former journalist with experience in radio, TV, print, and Internet reporting and production, I worked as a campaign ad writer and producer on Capitol Hill for several years before embarking on my screenwriting career and moving to Los Angeles.
With more than a dozen feature film and TV series scripts under my belt, I'm always working on at least a couple of new projects at any given time. Current projects include the animated series "Court of the Dead," a slate of connected live-action horror series, and an ensemble comedy feature film.
In addition, I have provided film reviews and other Hollywood coverage at Forbes for more than a decade. My writing has also appeared at Huffington Post, Slate, Quora, and The Hollywood Reporter. I'm an occasional guest on a variety of podcasts about cinema and genre entertainment.
You can see me briefly in the documentary films "War Room" (1993) and "In Pot We Trust" (2007), and as cohost (alongside main host Sean Gerber) of the YouTube video show "Superhero News" from March 2017 through July 2018.
