I’ve worked as an artist for The Kanata Standard, an editor and writer for Meridian Magazine, Publications Manager for the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and freelance editor and writer for various organizations and publications. I have a BA from the University of Waterloo, a year of Commercial Art from Washington State University, and an Elementary School Teacher’s Certificate from the University of Victoria, BC. Currently, I’m writing and editing for a media consultant and have written and illustrated two Viking Club Mysteries for children ages 8-12: Something’s Missing, a hockey-themed mystery published in 2012, and a sequel, Someone’s Trapped, a soccer-themed mystery published in 2014. I’ve also written a murder mystery, Death and Other Dilemmas, unpublished and making the rounds, and a screenplay, Paint It Black.
