Pia Thrasher is an award-winning actor, writer, director and visual artist originally from Germany, where she studied the arts at the E.T.A. Hoffman Gymnasium. After immigrating to the U.S. she tasted 'movie blood' while working on several film sets as an extra, including James Cameron's "Titanic". After playing numerous supporting and leading roles in indie features and shorts, Pia's curiosity about film production lead to her working on film sets behind the scenes, gaining more knowledge and skills as a filmmaker.
The dark comedy short 'The Appointment' was Pia's directorial debut in 2015. She then wrote, directed and starred in her award-winning short films, the horror comedy 'Things We Dig' and her dark thriller 'The Test'.
Pia is currently working on a horror storybook and several short stories.
